Acrylic half-round rod for 5 mm glass

This acrylic semi-circular rod is not self-adhesive and serves as an effective water deflector and strike for shower profiles. It is also ideal for open, accessible showers (walk-in showers) to reliably keep the water in the shower area. Especially in floor-level wet areas, this straight, subtle and transparent strip, which barely stands out from the rest of the shower, helps to significantly reduce cleaning effort.

The semi-circular profile is made of acrylic and can be used for all shower enclosures, glass showers, floor-level and barrier-free showers. The semi-circular rod is 10 mm wide, 5 mm high and available from us in lengths of 100 cm and 200 cm.

To attach the profile, thoroughly clean the surface so that it is dry, free of dust and grease. The acrylic splash guard is then glued to the tiled floor or the shower tray with transparent silicone. Silicone is a practical sealant, as it is temperature-resistant and water-repellent. Apply the silicone to the underside of the rod and glue it to the desired location. For showers with a glass door, the sealing lip of the shower seal should cover the acrylic rod by about 2 to 3 mm. If silicone leaks out at the sides when pressing it on, remove it immediately. Before using the shower, be sure to wait for the silicone drying time specified by the manufacturer.
