All-glass showers are becoming increasingly popular in home bathrooms, but also require special care to maintain their beautiful appearance for as long as possible.
Despite careful maintenance of the shower enclosure, deposits of lime and soap residue can sometimes not be avoided. In the seals of the shower enclosure, this leads, in combination with other factors such as UV radiation, over time to the plastic from which the profiles are made becoming brittle and fragile, and the profiles no longer sealing properly. Also, the wrong cleaning products – such as aggressive or chlorine-containing cleaners, abrasive or solvents – attack the material of the shower seal.
