Pre-curved sliding door seal with side deflectors

This horizontal, pre-curved lip seal has been specifically designed as a sealing strip for sliding shower doors in curved or quadrant shower enclosures (radius 500–550 mm) with a glass thickness of 6–8 mm. It is ideally suited for sliding doors that run in a track, as well as for conventional curved and quadrant shower enclosures with a small gap beneath the door, providing reliable protection against water splashes.

The profile is made from rigid PVC in the glass-gripping section and structured soft PVC in the sealing lip area. Our shower seals are distinguished by their high quality and discreet design; they effectively repel water and blend seamlessly into the appearance of elegant frameless glass shower enclosures.

These exceptionally durable profiles are manufactured from two different PVC grades—a rigid and a flexible component—and feature a transparent appearance. Thanks to the 18 mm long vertical wiping lip, gaps of up to 18 mm can be reliably sealed, while the structured soft lip provides improved sliding characteristics when opening and closing the shower door.

We offer this profile in an overall length of 118 cm (measured including the curvature), with the seal beginning at both ends with a straight section of 19 cm. The seal can be easily and precisely cut to the required length and installed without special tools, for example using a standard anvil shear, PUK saw, or mitre shears.

Care Instructions:
The wiping-lip seal should only be cleaned using chlorine-free, non-alkaline cleaning agents. Avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents to preserve the durability of the material and maintain its transparent appearance and water-repellent properties over time. Lukewarm water combined with a soft microfiber cloth is ideal for cleaning.
