Sweep seal with extra-long sealing fin

This lip seal was developed as a horizontal shower seal for shower doors with a glass thickness of 6-8 mm. The profile consists of rigid PVC in the area of the glass casing and soft PVC in the area of the sealing fin.

The vertical sweep seal has a dimension of 31.2 mm. As a result, a gap width of 32 mm can be sealed with a 6 mm glass thickness, and a gap of 34 mm can be sealed with an 8 mm glass thickness. The sealing profile impresses with its high quality, water repellency and the subtle design, which blends inconspicuously into the appearance of your tasteful all-glass shower.

These extremely durable profiles are manufactured from two different PVC thicknesses – a rigid and a soft component – in a transparent-clear finish. Each profile ensures a reliable and tight seal and visually blends perfectly into your bathroom.

This profile has a length of 200 cm. You can easily and precisely cut this sweep seal to your required length without specialised tools, for example with standard anvil shears, a PUK saw, or mitre shears.

Important note: This shower sealing profile is NOT suitable for quadrant and curved showers. If you require a splash guard profile for these shower shapes with a sealing lip of 18 mm, please contact us directly for a custom-made product.

Care tip: The sweep seal should only be cleaned with chlorine-free, non-alkaline cleaning agents. Avoid using abrasive cleaners and solvents to maintain the longevity of the material and to preserve the transparent design and water repellency in the long term.
