Sweep seal with trimmable sealing lip

This lip seal was designed as a horizontal shower seal for shower doors with a glass thickness of 6-8 mm. The profile consists of rigid PVC in the area of the glass casing and soft PVC in the area of the sealing lip.

The vertical sweep seal has a dimension of 19 mm. As a result, a gap width of 20 mm can be sealed with a 6 mm glass thickness, and a gap of 22 mm can be sealed with an 8 mm glass thickness. If required, this seal can easily be trimmed to a dimension of 3mm or 15mm due to a special embossing on the sealing lip.

The sealing profile impresses with its high quality and the subtle design, which blends inconspicuously into the appearance of your tasteful all-glass shower.

These extremely durable profiles are manufactured from two different PVC thicknesses – a rigid and a soft component – in a transparent-clear finish. Each profile ensures a reliable and tight seal and visually blends perfectly into your bathroom.

This profile has a length of 200 cm. You can easily and precisely cut this sweep seal to your required length without special tools, for example with standard anvil shears, a PUK saw, or mitre shears.

Care tip: The sweep seal should only be cleaned with chlorine-free, non-alkaline cleaning agents. Avoid using abrasive cleaners and solvents to maintain the longevity of the material and to preserve the transparent design and water repellency in the long term. Lukewarm water combined with soft microfibre cloths is ideal for this.
