Wall and centre sealing profile with half hollow chamber and short glass insertion

This gap seal is particularly well suited for use between a glass door and a fixed side panel or between glass and wall, especially where there is a small gap width and inward protruding fittings.

The centre seal is designed with an open hollow chamber for toughened safety glass (ESG) with an exact thickness of either 6 mm or 8 mm. It is intended for direct attachment to the glass edges of frameless shower enclosures. Please check the exact glass thickness of your shower door or side panel before purchasing, as this profile is not suitable for a range of 6–8 mm but specifically for either 6 mm or 8 mm glass. Accurate measurement is required to select the correct version.

The sealing fin is made of transparent-textured soft PVC, while the glass clamping section is made of transparent-satin hard PVC. The short glass insertion depth of this seal is only approx. 5 mm.

These extremely durable profiles are made from two different PVC grades – a rigid and a flexible component – in a transparent-clear finish. Each profile ensures a reliable and tight seal and integrates discreetly into your bathroom design.

This profile is available in a length of 200 cm. The shower enclosure sealing strip can be easily and precisely cut to the required length without special tools, for example using standard anvil shears, a PUK saw, or mitre shears.

Care instructions: The shower seal should only be cleaned with chlorine-free, non-alkaline cleaning agents. Avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents to preserve the durability of the material and maintain its transparent appearance and water-repellent properties over time. Lukewarm water combined with a soft microfiber cloth is ideal.
