Wall/centre shower seal with extended sealing lip

This vertical gap, door, and wall seal effectively prevents splashing water between a fixed glass panel and a swing door as well as the wall of your frameless shower enclosure. Thanks to its transparency, it blends perfectly into your individually designed bathroom. This seal is suitable exclusively for glass thicknesses of 6–8 mm.

The carrier profile (U-shaped piece that is clipped onto the glass) is made of transparent-satin hard PVC and has a height of 12 mm. The central sealing fin, also known as the flexible lip, is made of textured soft PVC and reaches a total length of 23 mm including the carrier. This makes the seal suitable for particularly large gap widths. Thanks to the soft PVC component, the seal adapts to the glass surface, providing flexibility and elasticity.

These extremely durable profiles are made from two different PVC grades – a rigid and a flexible component – in a transparent-clear finish. Each profile ensures a reliable and tight seal and blends discreetly into your bathroom design.

This profile is available in lengths of 200 cm and 250 cm. Installation is very simple: just remove the old seal, clean the glass, and clip on the new gap seal. No professional installer is required. For cutting, you can use a PUK saw or mitre shears.

Care instructions: The seal should only be cleaned with chlorine-free, non-alkaline cleaning agents. Avoid aggressive cleaners containing chlorine as well as abrasive or solvent-based products, as these may damage the plastic. Lukewarm water combined with a soft microfiber cloth is sufficient to maintain the transparent appearance and water-repellent properties over time.
