Wall and centre sealing profile with short glass insertion

This vertical gap seal is particularly well suited for use between a glass door and a fixed side panel or between glass and wall, especially where there is a small gap width and inward protruding fittings.

The carrier material (U-shaped profile that is clipped onto the glass) is made of transparent-satin hard PVC and has a height of only 5 mm. The centre seal, also referred to as the sealing fin, is made of transparent-textured soft PVC and reaches a total length of either 13 mm or 16.5 mm including the carrier (depending on the measured glass thickness). Thanks to the soft PVC component, the seal adapts closely to the glass surface, providing flexibility and elasticity.

Important note: Before purchasing this centre seal, please check the exact glass thickness of your shower door or fixed panel. This sealing profile is not suitable for a 6–8 mm range but only for an exact glass thickness of either 6 mm or 8 mm. A precise measurement is required to determine the correct version.

These extremely durable profiles are made from two different PVC grades – a rigid and a flexible component – in a transparent-clear finish. Each profile ensures a reliable and tight seal and integrates discreetly into your bathroom design.

This profile is available in a length of 200 cm. A technical drawing with the corresponding dimensions is available for each product in our shop. Installation is very simple: remove the old seal, clean the glass, and clip on the new gap seal. No professional installer is required. For cutting, you can use a PUK saw or mitre shears.

Care instructions: The seal should only be cleaned with chlorine-free, non-alkaline cleaning agents. Avoid aggressive cleaners containing chlorine as well as abrasive or solvent-based products, as these may damage the plastic. Lukewarm water combined with a soft microfiber cloth is sufficient to maintain the transparent appearance and water-repellent properties over time.
